#24 Thrifty Thursday - Clique.

Hello everyone!
I'm so sorry for being so absent recently, there no real excuse I can give you - I'm a very bad blogger!
You know when you just feel so overwhelemed with stuff and it makes you feel quite poorly and just tired? Thats basicaly what it is! Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not claiming to be some super busy amazing person that works hard every day of the week. I just feel like sometimes life in general can get on top of me, and so taking a step back has honestly just given me much needed 'rest' I think I've just got a late case of the 'January Blues'
Most of you probably won't notice this absense as it wasn't really that long! I just always feel quite guilty when I haven't blogged, but I am back!

Patterned Monochrome Playsuit, Carboot - £1.50
Black Knit Beanie, Carboot - 50p
Alexander Wang Kirsten Tote Lookalike Bag, Ebay - £37.99
Biker Aviator Leaher Jacket, c/o
Faux Jeffrey Campbell Spike Lita Lookalikes, c/o daisystreet
(yes, these are the BEST lookalikes ever!!!)

Turquoise & Silver Ring, Carboot - £1
Gypsy Head Ring, Carboot - £1.50 (Similar HERE)
Silver Snake Double Finger Ring, Ebay - £6.50

This outfit isn't amazingly interesting, I wore it to meadowhall the other day when James & I went to pick up a few things. I ended up feeling the worse I have felt the whole time I have been ill. I literally lasted an hour then we had to leave! Kinda sucks cause I got dressed up quite nicely for the first time in a while! I did pick up a new onesie from new look - I'm actually going to post about my onesies cause they're so cute. Probably not 'proper fashion blogger ettiquette', but I spend 80% of my time in Pyjamas!

Hope you guys are getting over the 'January blues!'
And I really hope you are all lovely!

Sorry for my lack of posting these past few days!
I've actually been fairly ill, and just thought rather than working and getting worse, just have a few days to relax and get myself all better!

Studded Dip Dye Crop Knit Jumper, You Wear Fashion
Studded Black Snap Back Cap, You Wear Fashion (£22)
American Apparel Disco shorts, c/o vouchercodes
Faux Jeffrey Campbell Spike Lita Lookalikes, c/o daisystreet
(yes, these are the BEST lookalikes ever!!!)

Just thought I'd share with you these shots I did for a photoshot for my store You Wear Fashion a few months ago! I went to the warehouse I've spoken about and the shots were incredible!
I want to show a few more of them eventually, but for now thought I'd show these which include this cropped dip dye studded knit jumper that is currently for sale :-)
Loads of coats and stuff are up and just need to get rid asap so feel free to take a look!

I have also restocked the spike snap back caps again - Hurrah!
So happy, absolutely love these bad boys!

Hope you are all well :-)

How To Wear .. The Monochrome Trend S/S13

Monochrome is my favourite up and coming trend for Spring / Summer 2013. It's quite strange really that black and white will be rocked in the months where bright colours and pastels usually shine, but it's such a lovely change. Monochrome can be both sporty, urban and girly. It really can fit with most peoples taste and style! :-)

'Boy London' Style Sweater, Ebay - £15.99
Faux Leather 'Pu' Elasticated Sports Shorts, Missguided - £17.99
Spike / Studded Cap, You Wear Fashion - £22
Faux Suede & Leather High Top Wedge Sneakers, Ebay - £14.98

Faux leather sports shorts like these are soooo nice. I absolutely love the sporty / urban feel to this outfit. I really wish it was sunnierso I couldget my pins out! The 'Boy' sweater is fairly hipster, along with the studded cap, but I can't help but love it ;-)

Boy Cap, Ebay - £13.99
Black T Shirt With Leather Detailing, Choies - $41
Faux Leather Biker Zip Shorts, Choies - $56.99
Platform White Sneakers / Converse, Ebay - £17.99

I saw this Boy cap on a photoshoot recently with a monochrome theme and fell alittle bit in love. Again with the hipsterness (sorry!) I already own the 'boy' beanie, so a cap is the next natural step! These leather shorts are a lookalike of the Unif Axl shorts I've been really lusting after. Again - I really wish it was sunnier!

Striped Oversized Pocket Sheer Blouse, Ebay - £23.99
Faux Leather Leggings, Ebay - £3.99
Faux Leather Transparent Wedge / Heel (Similar to Maison Martin Margiela for H&M!), choies - $171.99
Alexander Wang Kirsten Tote Lookalike, ebay - £33.99

I might have made a cheeky purchase of this blouse already, it's so lovely! Different to any other stripe shirt I've seen around. I think stripes are quite easy to incorporate within a monochrome theme, but not alwaaaaysss necessary, so try not to overdo it. Adding a pop of red is my favourite thing to do and lipstick should just do the trick. Oh my gosh, these heels are lookalikesof the Maison Martin Margiela for H&M ones - swooooooon. Soooo beautiful! I would defnitely buy them if the heel was bigger, but cause they're quite small I don't think I'd ever wear them. But aren't they just a dreaaaam? <3

Lookalike Celine Tee, Ebay - £7.49
Motel Jordan Stripe Jeans, Motel - £48
Michael Kors Gold Watch, Michael Kors - £229
Faux Red YSL Arty Gemstone Ring, Ebay - 99p
Lookalike Chanel Half Tint Sunglasses, Ebay - £6.33
Clear Persex Clutch, ebay - £12.99
Faux Jeffrey Campbell Spike Lita Lookalikes (£39.99) c/o daisystreet

This si the girliest ofthe monochromes and I had to add a cheaky MK watch and arty ring lookalike. The celine top isa staple for the monochrome trend I would say, and I'm so happy to have these Jordan jeans in my wardrobe as again - monochrome staple! I really like these chanel lookalike half tints, I didn't get around towearing mine last summer so fingers crossed I do this year.

I hope this has inspired you for the monochrome trend which is sweeping the nation already! I'm hoping it's sunny soon so I can fully emerse myself in it.

Will you be rocking it?

#23 Thrifty Thursday - Cosmic Girl (From Another Galaxy)

Hello all!
Sorry it's taken forever to do another thrifty thursday!
When I saw this hot pink shirt I fell in love. I find it quite difficult to incorporate colour into a winter wardrobe.

Black Milk Cosmic Leggings XS, Christmas Gift via Black Milk
Hot Pink Shirt, Carboot - £1
Grey Knit Snood, Ebay - £3.98
UNIF Black Hellbounds, Christmas Gift Via Nasty Gal
Silver Arm Cuff, Carboot - 50p

It was just £1 from the carboot a little while ago, and knew it would be perfect to pair with my new cosmic leggings from black milk. I honestly cant get over how amazing these leggings are! So flattering & thick they really are the perfect leggings. If you are going to invest in a good pair of leggings - seriously could not recommend these more! I know alot of place have done copies, and I do own a lookalike bodycon dress from romwe in the same print, but the difference is SO noticeable. They're also a brand that pride themselves on making everything themselves, no sweatshops, nothing. They are just a funand ethical brand that I have loved forever, thankyou so much to my mum for getting me these! :-)

I hope you are all well! The snow seems tobe easing up now so it's nice to be able to go to back to my more *exciting* wardrobe ^_^ I find it hard dressing for winter and I'm hoping to god that there is lovely weather during fashion week!

Not Giving In

Any excuse to wear my new shoes ey?
I really love leopard print teamed with flashes of red, throwing on a beanie adds a little bit of an edge to this outfit.

Black Knit Beanie, Ebay - £3.97
Chunky Gold Chain Necklace Ebay - £15
Black Knit Jumper, Ebay - £7.99
Leopard Print Maxi Slit Maxi Skirt, c/o Bank Fashion
Red UNIF Hellbounds With Black Laces, Christmas Present via Nasty Gal

I'm kind of in love with my new necklace of ebay. It wasn't cheap, and I'm sure there are a million duped in highstreet stores but I hadn't been able to find one exactly the same as this. It's my new favourite and think I might end up overwearing this at fashion week (along with my neon beanie, clutch and new hellbounds haha)

I've finalised my plans and I will be there for the full five days in London! I'm so excited but stressed as always trying to plan what I'm going to be getting up to! I want to do some proper *london* things I have never done before Whislt I'm there, like go on the London eye or something :-)

Christmas & Birthday Presents..

My birthday and christmas were absolutely amazing. Really chilled and lovely, and I recieved some really lovely and thoughtful gifts!

This isn't everything (I recieved ALOT of chocolate!) But I just wanted to show a few bits and pieces! Please remember this isn't me bragging at all, just excited to show you a few things that I recieved. And also remember this was birthday AND chrismas, so before you think I'm *spoilt*, I had two lots of presents ;-)

Black Milk Cosmic Leggings in XS, Via Black Milk

I asked my um for these for chrismas and can hand on heart say I'm an absolute black milk addict. So flattering, tight and gorgeous! I think these amounted to £48 or something because there was free postage throughout november BUT beware of customs! My mum got charged £13 or something I think! I still think it's worth it regardless. I won' say too much as you'll be seeing quite a lot more of Black Milk on this blog ... ;-)

Hello kitty toy, Hello kitty Pez, Pop Tarts blueberry flavour, Hello kitty candyfloss & Skittles 'Riddles'

Can you tell I like Hello Kitty? Hehe, my little sister got me all of these goodies, along with the American sweet goodness that is pop tarts and weird flavoured Skittles! I also got some hello kitty headphones off James, which are megggaaaa cute ^_^

Jack Wills Mug & Sugar Skull Piggy Bank

I'm not a massive fan of Jack Wills really but when I was in Somerset with James I saw this cute Union Jack mug in the box and though 'Stocking Fillerrrr!'
This sugar skul piggys bank was from my little sister and one of the sweetest presents ever! I posted a picture of this on my instagram saying how much I liked it ageees ago - and my little sister went and found it! I just thought it's so sweet how much thought went into it, and it's so cute.

The body shop mango gift set, Soap and glory 'small wonders' gift set, The body shop mini animal soaps, Lush Snow Fairy, Lush Bath Bomb, Lush Snowcake, Lush Snow Fairy Gift Set.

This is just a mix of some smellies I recieved for christmas - I got ALOTI'm starting to wonder why people keep buying me so many haha! I love the soap and glory set from my sister, and having the body shop gift set from James was a nice little surprise! I quite like the body shop but haven't got much from them so having something different was nice. Oh, and of course Lush stuff is pretty standard ;-)

UNIF Black Harness Dress , Red Hellbound Platforms & Black Hellbound Platforms - All Nastygal!

I don't really have the words to describe how shocked I was when I recieved these! The Harness dress is sold out EVERYWHERE. I still don't know how James managed to get me one! I asked for either red or black hellbounds and recieved red on christmas and was over the MOON. He also gave me a watch on christmas as an early birthday present and said that because it was so expensive that was it. And on my birthday I came downstairs to pancakes with chocolate and these badboys sitting on the table. I can't wait to style them up - my favourite shoes and dress EVER!

I am so so grateful for the things I recieved and can't wait to use everything mentioned! Again I'm not bragging, I just thought I'd show you a few random bits and bobs I got for both :-)

Let Me Kiss You.

I feel like all I ever talk about is the snow at the moment - it is quite difficult not to though! It's SO THICK today! My little sisters school was shut today because it was so bad, and my street was full of parents and their kids running around with sledges in their hands!
I live near a park but haven't been sledging yet! I'm hoing I can fit it in before all the snow dissapears .. which isn't likely to happen very soon.

Fox 'I'll fight you for it' tee, c/o Dizzy Little Dotty
Red Crushed Velvet Skater Skirt, c/o Chicnova
Biker Aviator Leaher Jacket, c/o
Black Knit Turban, c/o Missguided
Faux Jeffrey Campbell Litas, c/o soyoushoes
Fox ring, ebay - £2.99
Triangle Hand Harness, You Wear Fashion (£10)

I can't get over this skirt - it looks amazing in the snow! I think everyone should own something red and velvet! I've recently ordered these embellished red velvet shorts too - it's becoming a little bit of an addiction!
This outfit is rather *foxy* with the lovely tee by dizzy little dotty (they have some really cute designs and I love how quirky they are!) and my double fox ring :-)

Please excuse the lighting - it's so hard to get decent pictures in this snow! Either too bright or too dark at every angle! I wish my photos were better quality sometimes, but I don't have a photographer boyfriend (James does do a fantastic job to be fair!) or a hugely expensive camera (I use a Nikon d3000 with a 50mm lense FYI) so it's not going to be as amazing quality as I'd like! So just a little sorry to you guys who read the blog I guess - I really do try my hardest though!
