Vintage Floral Granny Blouse.

Hello lovely people! I absolutely love ebay shopping (of course!) and I bought a few things a while back that I forgot to blog about. At the moment, I'm saving up for a proper nice camera for this lovely blog to benefit from, so I am on abit of a spending ban, but this lovely top was bought a while back.

I love floral blouses, especially the grandma kind. It has an AMAZING lace peter pan collar with a lovely floral pattern. It cost me a measly £2.50 :)
My little tip for people is to go for the things with crap quality pictures.. not many people bid on them and they usually turn out to be lovely (if teamed with the right clothing!)

High waist shorts, ebay - £11.50 / Vintage floral blouse, ebay - £2.50 / New look brogues, ebay - £11 / Hat, ebay - £3.50

You may have noticed new surroundings in my pictures? they were taken at my mums NEW house.. and guess where she lives?
8 DOORS DOWN FROM ME. It's very bizarre, she has always lived close by but now she lives on the same road as us, and it is a loverrly house!
Things have been a little hectic for me, because of helping my mum move in etc but I'm trying to keep the blog updated regularly so do not worry my darlings :)

The £3 Maxi dress and Aussie Event

Remember the jumble sale I went to and I mentioned that I bought a £3 maxi dress? I'm not a fan of maxi dresses just cause I'm 5ft and quite stumpy, so I didn't think I could pull one off if I'm honest. But I fell in love with the texture and pattern and colour of the dress, so I had to buy it. Here is the gem:

Maxi dress, carboot - £3 / Sandals, ebay - £3.50 / Primark Necklace - £6

The actual dress on a hanger is quite boring, so I took a belt and pushed loads of the fabric under and pulled the top over to cover the belt and also hoisted up some fabric from the sides up. It makes the texture much better and flowy, and It makes me less stumpy by showing some more leg. I don't think I'm quite ready for a proper full length maxi, I'm definately not tall enough for that!

Then I wore this whole outfit to an event in London for aussie. It was so amazing! They did my hair and makeup and my hair was literally the most amazing thing ever.

Getting all pampered..

My hair, before and after.
The girl who did my hair was amazing! I asked for this hairstyle that I'd seen in more magazine (the one with katy perry on the front!) and she did it amazingly! I didn't know how it would look cause my hairs super duper long. I really cannot wait to try this on a night out! The magazine with the hairstyle actually has a tutorial with it so you'll be able to do it yourself, but because she talked me through it properly and I have the products, I may do a little tutorial for you all :)

My makeup, before and after.
The makeup was fabulouuus. I genuinely thought I was wearing quite abit before (obviously some has come off during the day) but then she wacked loads on and I looked SO different!

We got this lovely goodybag too so I can actually do the hairstyle and all the products smell SO GOOD. Even the hairsprays, which is an added bonus.

Thanks to all the 1000heads girlies and especially CHARLIE for letting me stop at her house after I ended up missing my coach home (long story, was an experience to say the least!) please go visit her lovely blog for me :)

Sunday haul & happy fathers day!

For fathers day we nipped to my grannies and had a lovely family time. My grandma lives next to a field where there are (rarely) carboots held. Me and my mum decided to pop along and see if it was any good and it surprisingly was!

So here are a few of the things I found that I have just put up on ebay (link in sidebar!)

Blue sparkly miso dress - 50p / Blue topshop dress - £2 / New look floral skirt - £2 / Primark black military dress - £1 : I really don't want to sell this one :(

Two satchelly bags - 50p

And then these shoesies that I can't keep cause they are a size 7 and my tiny size 3 feet probably wouldn't look very good in them haha - £1

I love them and everything but my gosh I have too many clothes and I just need to start making money somehow! So check them out my lovely readers :)

Onto the things that I kept for myself then:
I came across this little stall that had these two things.

The first is a lovely bookmark which was £1. I'm very into my books right now (because I actually have time to read them!) and because of my nice little summer booklist over there >> I thought I should come at it prepared haha.
Then the next is just a little scrapbook for 50p. It's really cute and I have so much I want to scrap about.

I then spotted this:
Now I know it's very long and large and just very grannie like.. but it's very vintagey and polka dotty and I couldn't help picking it up for the measly price of £1.

Moving onto some more stalls, one stall had these two beauties:
I've wanted one of these neon bright watches for ageeees! It's working with batteries and was only £2, and they are all like £6-7 on ebay. Thank goodness I found it.
Then we have this YSL lipstick which came brand new. I love love the actual tube, it's so classy and the colour is THE PERFECT NUDE (142, honey beige). Darker than my gosh darling and is so smooth and lovely. And it was only 20p. How perfect :)

Few little bits and bobs I then stumbled across:
Time travellers wife- £1. Just really want to read this book really! Floral sewing box - £1.50, It's very cute and I need somewhere to store my sewing bits & bobs. Then this bunch of fake flowers was like 30p or something (I can't remember) and I want it to sew onto a pretty top or a straw hat or something, they're really pretty.

Lastly I was gonna skip a few rows but I am glad I didn't cause I picked this up for £3:
If you don't know.. I'm a little bit of a DDR addict and love playing on dance mats. This is a hard dance mat (took forever to lug to the car home, I can tell you now!) and I've wanted one for AGES. It works amazingly and lights up when you step on an arrow and eveything. The RRP for these is like £50. Amazing. Made my day!

& I also picked up 4 lever arch files for £2 (bargain!) for organising my life.
It seems like I didn't pick up too much but I spent loads more than I usually do! I also went to a jumble sale yesterday with a few nice things that I want to blog about later.
OH & at the jumble sale I picked up something super cheap for £2 and want to give it away as a contest prize (because I have too much jewellery and you guys deserve a treat!) So I'll let you know when thats happening.
I'm also needing to blog about my london trip and the outfit I wore to that (which some of you may have seen on hannah/charlies blogs).

I also need to apologise to everyone for not doing a post on how to find the best bargains at bootsales, as the lovely josie kindly pointed out, which I'm sure I said I would do months ago, argh! That will get done soon, it's just hard because I may get good bargains but I don't have any tricks really, I guess I'm just extremely lucky to have carboots so near to me and that they are awesome! But I will write the guide as soon as I have time my lovelies :)

Haulie paulie pudding and pie.

Hello there beautiful people, I have a new post for you.. and it's a good un'
So my mum decided to drag me to a jumble sale, they're usually abit pants if I'm honest, they have nothing on carboots. But oh my. I found some gems!

This was the first buy I made of the day. It's really lovely and was 50p.

I cut my face off cause I was wearing no makeup and it was early in the morning.. no one wants to see that haha! Anyway, this dress was 50p! It's not a big brand and it took me a while to fit my boobs in (I'm guessing it's a child sizing!) but I love it for summer.

Recognise this? Well, if you've followed me for ages then you'll have seen it here . Well no, actually, it's a different phone, it's pretty similar! Except this one cost me £1 rather than 50p and I prefer the other one. I may sell it or give it as a gift or something (sorry for the weird purple thing on the picture, my camera is breaking haha)

So these are quite normal styled pink trousers, but are high waisted. They cost me £1 and I'm going to cut them up and make them into shorts (hence why I've taken the picture from this angle) I'm really excited, they fit lovely too.

This is the cutest and daintiest little compact mirror I've seen in my life! It was only £1, and has all the gems intact and is pretty new. It's very me aswell.

A lovely Leather jacket by primark, it was £4 (Expensive right?) Well no, not really. For a jumble sale, yeah it is. But I've wanted a leather jacket for ages and I genuinely adore this one. yumyum

20p piece of lace material. Not much to say.. except any ideas on what I can make with it? It's not too big.

This was only 50p, It's lovely. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with it, or where I'd even wear it to (If I'd ever wear it!) but it was 50p and so lovely. I could always to a rework on it, but we'll see.

This was 50p and it's half full! I love my tigi products & I'm thinking of doing a little hair post on what products I use and how I style my hair etc. Let me know what you think.

This was £1 and I just think it's so dainty and pretty. It's a quite big for me and it's too short to be a dress, but I'm sure I'll find a use for it. It reminds me of this dress from topshop that I've been after for a while, so I'm pretty chuffed!

Here are the things I found & that I am currently selling on ebay. I love them all but I just have too many clothes!

I really like this cardigan, but I have too many clothes. It's genuinely so beautiful and unique.

Cricket vest, perfect for summer!

YUMI dress, it's so adorable! It was hard not to just keep it for myself!

Another YUMI dress

Thats it! I also bought an amazing blue maxi dress for £3 and a coat for £2.50, which I'll post seperately because I need your opinion on the coat for a particular reason and the maxi dress just deserves it's own post to be honest!

Also thankyou so so much for all your lovely reactions to me coming back.. it's so nice to think people actually MISSED me haha! I've not got too much planned to be honest, my blogging is abit random at the mo but I will try and fit an ootd soon and of course talk about the wonderful event I'm going to in London on wednesday! I also have a little project I've been working on to announce within the next 2 weeks, I'm not giving and clues away yet but I promise it's good 'un!
